I
am sure you are thankful for the rains to have arrived.

I know I am so
thankful that the rains have arrived. Mostly because now I get a break from
watering my new trees.  This spring was a bit cool and dry, however
hopefully we can see some warm weather after these rains and things should be
growing like weeds (but hopefully they outgrow the weeds). 
Tiime has been flying by, and it is hard to believe that we are in the middle
of June already.  Things here at LARA have been busy, but all the trials
are seeded and we really look forward to our field days this summer to
showcase a variety of different things. 
Our Summer Field days have been selected and we are still lining up some
fabulous speakers and more information will be released shortly. But please
save the date for:

• Fort Kent: July 21
• Lac La Biche: July 27
• St. Paul: August 4
• Smoky Lake: August 10

We also have some amazing speakers lined up and farm tours
including Dr. Kevin Sedivec on July 26, Discover Organics and tour of Sand
Springs Ranch on August 9th and Jimmy
Emmons will be joining us the week of August 15th (date to
still be determined).
