This year, the Lac La Biche Pow Wow & Fish Derby Association will be hosting a modified version of our annual event on July 30 to August 2, 2021 – which will be titled as the “Lac La Biche Summer Days”. Although this year’s event may not be as extensive as previous years, we have made the decision to move forward nonetheless due to the need for our community to celebrate with our elders and children.

“Lac La Biche Summer Days” has been chosen to be the interim name for our event out of respect for our community’s Indigenous peoples. As a member of a local First Nation, I support that!

Our tagline this year is “Something is better than nothing”, and we aim to make the most out of opportunity that we have because of our love for our community. A schedule of events is to follow.

We hope to see the friendly faces that we have missed so much.
