Owner Briget Vezeau started cooking at a very young age, but it wasn’t until 2015 that she established herself as a baker and made her business a reality. While raising her family, she learned from experience, watching online instructional videos, and taking short courses like “food safety.”
Today, Bridget’s home-based business takes in orders for anywhere between 5 and 25 cakes each month, along with an accompanying request for a theme that ranges from armoured tanks to tree stumps.

“For some peculiar reason, cakes in the shape of a cow are trendy right now,” says Vezeau. Briget’s cakes are typically three tiers. Each layer is between 5 and 7 inches of customized delight, whether traditional chocolate flavour, carrot cake or something more decadent like tiramisu or cheesecake with fruit filling – the sky’s the limit. Bridget’s business is also branching out to offer a variety of other treats like candies and chocolates.
